The furnaces currently applied for the heat treatment of wires and bands suffer from high energy consumption, low part load capacity and insufficient environmental compatibility.

AEOX sets new economical and ecological standards in the heat treatment for the steel wire production. Due to the application of innovative process technologies and an improvement of process elements AEOX saves up to 40% of the specific energy consumption per kg wire.

• AEOX ECC - energy-efficient, combustion-optimized recirculation convection furnace with cascaded recuperation and extensive heat recuperation for re-utilization within the entire process cycle
• AEOX STS - microstructure transformation system with environmentally sound convection film quenching, heat recuperation and two-phase temperature soaking zone
• AEOX EXC - cross-flow convection furnace for environmentally sound, energy efficient and non-contacting diffusion annealing in temperature-controlled recirculation air

ABACS
Constant bath composition for galvanic coating

Fluctuations in electrolyte composition lead to instable results in plating, and therefore to an increase in scrap.

The Online Analysis and Controlsystem ABACS cares for constant compositions. Continuous automatic measurements and dosings enable a better product quality and at the same time reach a high economic efficiency.

Example of application: Brass plating plants for the production of high quality steel cord and saw wire.
